Future Players was created in 2008 by its Director, Steve Baker – a successful Project Manager experienced at senior management level and specialising in community, sports, music, inclusion and young people’s initiatives.

With success achieved at both strategic and ground levels and a genuine passion for people and providing opportunities for development and improvement, Steve has a proven track record of planning, leading, managing, developing and delivering a wide range of projects to achieve target outcomes, whether they are common outcomes or relevant to each interested party. He is highly organised and an excellent communicator with the ability to form and develop sound working relationships at all levels and with both individuals and partner agencies. He is also experienced at facilitating larger programmes and implementing a multi agency approach drawing on over 10 years experience in developing, managing and delivering initiatives for one of the leading community arms of a professional football club. Future Players can deliver projects and targeted work in-house, and wherever necessary in conjunction with our project partners and contractors.

Broadly speaking Future Players offers:

• youth engagement programmes
• skills development through sport, fitness, healthy lifestyles, music

Future Players is all about helping to shape futures, be that an individual or group; for a specific project/initiative or for an organisation(s), with a focus on implementing and developing creative ideas for an array of projects, across a number of sectors/industries and to provide the complete project management service. We endeavour to provide a high quality, personal and professional service, bringing creative and innovative ways of working and ideas to the table. We are equally
competent preparing a creative solution from the drawing board as we are following your own script, either way achieving your target outcomes.

The same focus extends to forming ideas to provide and facilitate quality youth engagement and skill development programmes. Our service is underpinned by excellent organisational skills and effective
communication at all levels. An undoubted ‘peoples person’ organisation which believe very much in a hands on approach and quality outcomes. Within the areas of youth engagement and skills development, Future
Players strives to find its own niche in the market and fill the gaps, often working alongside other competent partner agencies. as opposed to being a ‘competitor’ to other such organisations.
